Salesforce & Enterprise Territory Management

The Salesforce territory workflow you were promised.

Import the ETM model you already have, plan in a tool built for territories, and push to Salesforce when you're ready — after a preflight shows every write. No CSV exports. No Data Loader. No surprise owner flips.

How the sync works
Works with or without ETM OAuth with PKCE, no stored passwords Sandbox orgs supported
Key capabilities

Everything Salesforce territory management needs

One-push deployDeploy territories, users and account associations to Enterprise Territory Management in one push.
Owners & account teamsPush owners, account teams and custom fields — scoped to a territory, a segment or the whole plan.
PreflightSee every account and field that will change, including the ones that won't, before anything is written.
Scheduled syncPull Salesforce data on your schedule, with custom SOQL rollups and calculated fields.
ETM importStart from the territory model you already have, assignment rules included.
Scheduled pushesPush automatically on a schedule, and pause any time.
Sync in

Salesforce data, on your schedule

Accounts, users, opportunities and any other object sync in on demand, hourly, every 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours, or daily at a set time — and only changed or deleted records are pulled. Pause and resume whenever you need a frozen snapshot.
  • Custom SOQL rollups, like open pipeline or won deals in the last 90 days
  • Calculated fields that read parent and ultimate-parent values
  • Field recommendations that suggest what's worth balancing on
Import

Start from the territory model you already have

Pick an ETM model, explore its hierarchy, and preview every territory, role and user assignment before importing. Roles map to Territory Owner, Supporting or Manager, and BoogieBoard can suggest the account rules that describe each territory you imported.
  • Import assignment rules along with the model
  • Create ETM territories that exist in BoogieBoard but not in Salesforce
Suggest logic

Turn today's territories into rules

Imported territories are usually a list of accounts, not a set of rules. Suggest Logic profiles each territory against its siblings and proposes the account rule that best describes it, so new accounts route the same way your current ones did.
  • See how many imported accounts each rule finds
  • Match precision shows how cleanly the rule fits
  • Add the rule to the logic builder in one click
Push out

Meet Salesforce where you are

You don't need Enterprise Territory Management to use the integration. Push to the fields your reps and reports already use — or deploy the full Territory2 model when you're ready.

Enterprise Territory Management

Territory2 hierarchy, user-territory and account-territory associations, kept in step with the plan.

Account Owner

The simplest go-live: owners updated from the committed plan, with a fallback owner for inactive users.

Account Teams

Supporting roles land as native account team members, including distinct BDR books.

Custom fields & objects

Map any role to an account field, or use BoogieBoard's reportable custom objects for territories and members.

Bulk updates

Select accounts and update their Salesforce fields or ETM links in minutes, reviewed against live values first.

Territory on the Account page

Lightning components show reps the territory, owner and account team right where they work.

Update Salesforce

Ad-hoc changes, without a data load

When something needs to change in Salesforce now, select the accounts in BoogieBoard and open Update Salesforce. Pick the fields — Account Owner, the fields mapped to your roles, or ETM territory links — see what's in Salesforce today, choose the new values and review every change before it's sent.
  • Live Salesforce values side by side with your update
  • Leave accounts with a particular current value untouched
  • Add or remove ETM territory links in the same update
  • Every change lands in Account History, with a sync report
Account page

The territory, right on the Account page

Drop BoogieBoard's Lightning components onto the Account page and reps see the territory, owner and account team — plus whether the account is locked and how it got there — without leaving Salesforce.
  • Territory breadcrumb, owner and account team
  • Lock status and assignment history
Preflight

Know every change before it lands

Only committed territories push, and every push starts with a preflight: which accounts and fields will change, how temporary coverage is affected, and what will be cleaned up — with per-territory counts. Push everything, one territory, or a single segment.
  • Simulate the push for a single account
  • Schedule automatic pushes, and pause them any time
  • Account History shows what changed in Salesforce, and when
Reconcile

Start every change from reality

When someone changes an owner straight in Salesforce, Reconcile Territories lines the plan back up with actual ownership — including ETM role and owner drift — so the plan never silently diverges from the CRM.
  • Skip territories, hold owners or protect temporary coverage
How it works

From connection to controlled push

Connect

Sign in with Salesforce (OAuth with PKCE) and choose a sync schedule.

Import or build

Import your ETM model with a preview, or start from a blank model.

Plan and balance

Set goals, run Auto-Balance, review with leaders, commit the plan.

Preflight and push

Review every planned write, then push now or on a schedule.

FAQ

Salesforce questions, answered

Is the Salesforce sync real-time?

No — and that's deliberate. Data syncs in on a schedule you choose (on demand, hourly up to daily) and only changed records are pulled. Changes go out only when you push a committed plan, after a preflight, so nothing reaches your reps by accident.

Do we need Enterprise Territory Management?

No. Push to Account Owner, Account Teams, custom fields or BoogieBoard's custom objects. If you do run ETM, BoogieBoard deploys the Territory2 hierarchy and associations for you.

Can BoogieBoard import our existing ETM model?

Yes. Explore the model, preview territories, roles and user assignments, map roles, and import it, optionally with its assignment rules.

What happens before a push touches Salesforce?

Only committed territories can push, and the preflight lists every account and field that will change, along with cleanup and temporary-coverage effects, so you can review before anything is written.

Does it support Salesforce Collaborative Forecasting?

Yes. Forecast managers set in BoogieBoard are deployed to ETM territories, so Salesforce forecasting follows the plan. Quotas themselves stay in BoogieBoard.
